Away Meets in 2006
Glenwood
10012 Gardiner Ave. Silver Spring, MD 20902 (301) 681-7599
- Take Connecticut Avenue North through Kensington.
- Turn Right at Plyers Mill Road (traffic light at the firehouse).
- Drive approx. one mile past the Oakland Terrace Elementary School to Brunswick Ave.
- Turn Right onto Brunswick Ave. proceed downhill to Dennis Ave,
- Turn Left on Dennis Ave.
- Turn Right on Gardiner Ave. and proceed to the bottom of the hill.
- Turn Left and pool entrance will be on your right.
NOTE Glenwood has two parking lots. The main lot is located off Gardiner. The upper parking lot is located at the McKenney Hills Learning Center at 2600 Hayden Dr. The lot can be reached by turning right onto Hayden Dr. at the bottom of Gardiner Ave. There is a sidewalk from the upper parking lot to the pool. Use the upper lot gate to enter the pool facility.
Please do not park in the private driveway at the foot of Hildarose Ave

Inverness Forest

- Take River Road towards Beltway
- At first light after beltway, turn right onto Seven Locks Road.
- At Tuckerman Lane (a light), turn left
- Then, take your second left, Deborah Drive.
- Follow Deborah Drive thru a stop sign, down hills, pool is on right.

Lake Marion

- North on I-270 to Montgomery Village Ave.
- Exit onto Montgomery Village Ave East and proceed about 5 miles to stop light at Wightman Rd.
- Right on Wightman to first traffic light (Goshen Rd.).
- Left on Goshen Rd. to East Village Ave. (several hundred yards on right).
- Right on East Village Ave. to pool ~ 1/4 mile on left.

Little Falls

- Greystone to Left on River
- Right at 1st light on Greenway (Willard/Greenway)
- Cross over little bridge.
- Take the first left onto Little Falls Drive.
- Take the first left, over the wooden bridge and into the Little Falls parking lot.

- I-270 to Exit 6 (Rt 28 East - W. Montgomery Ave).
- From South - Go straight through the light onto Nelson Street. From North - Turn left on W. Montgomery,
then left on Nelson Street.
- Go about 1.2 miles on Nelson to the first traffic light. Go straight through the light.
- The street changes names from Nelson to Martins Lane.
Access to Swim Center via next two driveways on the right.

From the Beltway:
- Take Rockville Pike (Wisconsin Ave) South towards DC.
- Go through Bradley Blvd. Intersection.
- Turn Right on Dorset Ave. (the first light after Bradley;
if you go past Saks, you've gone too far).
- Go to second Stop sign and turn left onto Warwick Place.
- Turn left at the second Stop Sign into the pool parking lot.

Stonegate

From New Hampshire Avenue and Randolph Road
- North on New Hampshire Ave., past traffic lights at Cape May Road, and Bonifant Road.
- Continue north ~ 1/2 mile to Stonegate Drive on the left.
- Left onto Stonegate drive, and then ~ 3/4 miles, around a curve.
- Pool is on the left.
