1975 A Swimming Pool Advisory Committee report was issued in February. It was agreed to sponsor a swim team.  Then in June, $400 is appropriated for swim team equipment -- stop watches, lane ropes, and back-stroke warning flags. In August Mr. Hirsch reports on the success of the swimming team – 65 swimmers from 32 families were participating.

1976 There is a Resolution that the Town support a swim team program and authorization of $950 for purchase of pool equipment.  But swim League dues, honorariums paid to coaches, cost of team parties, etc. were to be raised by charging a small fee for participation. The team was called the Somerset Supersonics in the summer of 76 

1977 On the initiative of the Swim Team, Council member Mr. Meerkreebs made a motion that the Town pay $125 membership fee for the 1977 season to the Montgomery County Swimming League and assume payment of the annual membership fee in the future.

1990 The team was #5 in the L Division and the coach was Dan Rudolph

1991  Gayley Knight is Swim Team Rep to the Swimming Pool Committee.  Coaches are Dan Rudolph and Tina Truman.

1992 Head Coach Dan Langan, assistant coach Mat Hoover

1993 – Coach Sandi Vessey, assistant coach, Reid Glennie.  Team has 61 members.

1994 and 1995 Debbie Heller and Elaine Bloomfield are swim team reps. Glennie is swim team coach, Katie McClosky assistant and Emily Johnson junior coach. The swim team had an active season with over 100 young residents participating, a very big year.

1996 Swim team reps: Joanne Steller and Mark Palchick.  70 swim team members.  Head coach Jeff Lindner, asst coach Brian Mayberry. Team finishes 2nd in the N Division.

1997 Town drops annual membership fees for use of pool. Sarah Morse is swim team rep. Head coach is Jeff Lindner.

1998 Pool gets a water heater (which swim team has been pushing for)
