Helping Hand is a community-led organization of Somerset residents dedicated to fostering neighborly support in Somerset. Founded in 2007, Helping Hand now consists of 30 volunteers, including neighbors with four-wheel drive vehicles, who will help residents with rides to medical appointments, business appointments, social appointments, & shopping trips when they cannot make it on their own. The group will also assist with light bulb replacements & other basic home projects.

Somerset residents are encouraged to request assistance when needed or to volunteer to help your neighbors. In the years that this neighborly service has been functioning, there has been only one request that could not be filled. Try them out!
